01 — Common reasons

Common Reasons People Seek Massage

People come to me for many different reasons — tension, stress, stiffness, recovery, or simply the need to slow down. You do not need to know the name of a technique before booking. Tell me what you are feeling, and I will help you decide where to start.

  1. Neck & shoulder tension

For tight shoulders, neck stiffness, computer posture, or tension that keeps coming back.

  2. Back tension

  3. Headache relief

For tension that builds around the neck, shoulders, scalp, jaw, or temples.

  4. Stress relief

For times when your nervous system feels overloaded and your body needs calm, slow care.

  5. Muscle tightness

For areas that feel stuck, guarded, stiff, or hard to fully relax.

  6. General relaxation

For when you simply want to slow down, breathe, and feel more comfortable in your body.

  7. Restricted movement

For stiffness, limited mobility, or the feeling that your body is not moving as freely as usual.

  8. Recovery after physical activity

For soreness, muscle fatigue, or support after workouts, sports, or active weeks.

  9. Prenatal comfort

Gentle, supportive massage after the first trimester, adjusted for comfort and positioning.

  10. Postpartum support

Calm bodywork for mothers who want support reconnecting with their body after birth.

  11. Face, jaw & scalp tension

For jaw tightness, facial tension, scalp tension, puffiness, or stress held in the face.

  12. Scar or post-surgical area support

Gentle work around old scars or post-surgical areas when appropriate and comfortable.

  13. Puffiness or heaviness

For clients who want gentle face or bodywork focused on lightness, drainage, and relaxation.

  14. Reconnecting with your body

For when you feel disconnected, overwhelmed, or simply want to feel present in your body again.

02 — About Anna

Meet Anna

My path to bodywork began with yoga and years of paying attention to how the body actually moves and holds itself. A personal interest in recovery and movement led me to professional massage and bodywork training — and to a simple conviction: the body is one system, so I work with all of it rather than repeating one fixed routine.

So a session is put together on the day rather than in advance. It may draw on massage, myofascial and neuromuscular work, craniosacral therapy, stretching, face massage or an add-on — whichever of them your body is asking for.

This kind of work builds on itself. A longer session buys more time with more of the body, and a care bundle brings the price per visit down when you would rather keep it regular. Comfort, movement and a clearer sense of your own body come gradually, not in one appointment.

03 — My Massage Approach

Personalized Massage Care

There is no one-size-fits-all routine here. I listen to what you tell me — and to what your body shows me on the table — and choose the techniques that fit. Depth can be gentle or deeper. Local tension is always read in the context of the whole body, and the session evolves as your body responds.

  • Adapted, not scripted

No two sessions are the same — the plan forms as we talk and as I work.

  • Gentle to deep

Depth follows your body's response, not a preset intensity.

  • Whole-body context

A tight shoulder is rarely just a shoulder. I look at the pattern around it.

  • Evolves in real time

As tissue releases, the session shifts with it.

Massage Pricing

Massage pricing depends on how long your session is, whether the session is mobile or studio-based, and whether travel is needed. Longer sessions give your body more time to settle, allow for more complete full-body work, and usually offer the best value per hour.

Coming soon Studio Massage

Mobile massage sessions are available by appointment and include a massage table and basic supplies. Pricing is based on session length. Travel within the included distance is part of the base price, and additional travel may be added depending on your location.

  • This wasn’t my first time trusting my body to Anna, and what happens during her sessions goes far beyond a simple massage. It is deep, subtle, and at the same time powerful work with the body and the nervous system. Everything is done with such gentleness, care, and precision, yet the effects are felt on every level. After the session, there is a sense of lightness, balance, and inner calm that is hard to put into words.

  • I have done this twice with Anna! The first time, I was relaxed, but my brain was still going all over the place, as this isn't traditional massage. I kept thinking "what should I be feeling, etc." But, it was relaxing, and I couldn't understand the inner healing benefit. The second time I did it, I was COMPLETELY and DEEPLY relaxed. There is something to be said about healing from within, when you're in such a deep state of relaxation. Anna is calming and nurturing. She really can feel where your body needs extra attention. If you're used to traditional massage (which she also does) she can incorporate that in. But, my point here, if that is what you're used to, this type of healing make take 2 sessions before your body (and mind) will completely relax. Its so worth it though!

  • I have received two massages from Anna so far. Each time I have been super impressed with her professionalism, knowledge and how comfortable she made me feel. I felt very relaxed and even a few days after I still experienced the positive effects of the treatment. It has been interesting to see how my body responds and allow myself the time to take it all in and learn. Anna has been very knowledgeable on how everything is connected. She is so gentle, yet, her touch evokes a response from my body which fascinates me. Thank You Anna!

  • ✨ What an incredible experience! ✨ Let me start from the beginning — I had back surgery as a child and have struggled with back pain for almost 40 years. Over the years, I’ve seen hundreds of massage therapists, doctors, and specialists... But Anna — OMG — she’s truly something special. 🥰🌸✨ She intuitively finds every point that needs healing, creating a deeply relaxing atmosphere with her calm, soothing voice and magical hands. ✨ You can tell she genuinely cares and is constantly learning and improving her craft to stay at the top of her field. If you’re looking for real healing and not just another massage, Anna is the one. ❤️

08 — FAQ

Questions people ask before their first visit

How do I know which massage to book?
You don't have to. Book a session and tell me what you're feeling — we'll decide the direction together, and I'll adapt as we go.
What should I expect during my first session?
A short conversation about what brings you in and any relevant history, then the work itself. I'll check in about pressure and comfort throughout.
Do I need to undress?
Only to the level you're comfortable with. You're always covered with a sheet; only the area being worked on is uncovered.
What should I wear?
Anything comfortable. For stretching or taping, soft, loose clothing is helpful.
Will the massage be painful?
It shouldn't be. Deeper work may feel intense, but it stays within your comfort — you set the limit, always.
Can you work with chronic tension or discomfort?
Yes. Long-standing tension usually responds best to unhurried, consistent work over a few sessions.
What if I have a medical condition?
Tell me before we begin. Some conditions need clearance from your healthcare provider; I do not diagnose or treat medical conditions.
Do you offer prenatal massage?
Yes, from the second trimester, fully supported side-lying.
Do you work with postpartum clients?
Yes — usually from about six weeks after birth, or once your provider is comfortable with it.
Do you travel to clients?
In-home sessions are available in the St. Augustine and Jacksonville area for an additional travel fee.
What should I expect after a session?
Most people feel lighter and calmer. Some mild soreness after deeper work is normal and passes within a day or two.
How often should I book?
It depends on your goals. Many clients come every two to four weeks; we can talk about what makes sense for you.
What is your cancellation policy?
Please give 24 hours' notice. Late cancellations and no-shows are charged 50% of the session.
